about the founder

Kristen J. Yarbrough is the Founder and CEO of Pretty Unique Mentoring Incorporated.  She is a native of Rockledge, Florida, where she attended the Brevard County public school systems.  Upon graduating from Rockledge High School, she attended the University of Florida(Gainesville,Florida) where she majored in Sports Management, with a minor in Business Administration.  She later obtained her Masters degree in Business Management also from the University of Florida(Gainesville,Florida).  
Her passion for mentoring began when she joined one of her sorority's committee programs which focused on mentoring young ladies.  She later joined her church's youth department, and realized even more how much of a difference she can make in the lives of young ladies.    

The creation of Pretty Unique Mentoring Incorporated came from an honest conversation she had with God about what she needed to be working on as she matriculated through a new year.  God placed on her heart to form an online virtual mentorship program that will have the ability to not only reach those within her community, but all across the world with the use of technology!  

In Kristen's free time she enjoys mentoring(of course! :-) ), shopping, traveling, spending time with loved ones, watching sports, working out, the color pink, and enjoying life.  She currently has a career as a Property Insurance Underwriter, and is an active member of her sorority Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
